     Cliff Dobson is a musician, drummer, and all around industry professional residing in Los Angeles. Although originally from Ohio, Cliff spent his formative years in Florida where he earned his B.M. in Modern Artist Development & Entrepreneurship from the Frost School of Music. He has played in many ensembes, bands, and session reordings ranging broadly in genres. Cliff enjoys playing jazz, funk, rock, metal, blues, pop, and even latin music. He continuously explores new styles and concepts. He beleives that a teacher must always be a student first, and that is exactly why he will always expand his horizons and think of musc with a high level of curiousity and passion for understanding.

      Cliff founded Cliff Dobson Music in 2022, shortly after he discovered a passion for sharing his knowledge, curiosity, and wisdom to other apsiring drummers. He has taught dozens of private students, taught hundreds at school of rock, and instructed at a high school for a few years.

    He now runs his private teaching studio in North Hollywood. He still plays daily and continues to push his career forward. You can typically find him practicing, playing with Lawn, or digging into a new book.
